개인정보 처리방침

WindTalker(BuzzerBeater)는 개인정보를 수집하지 않는 것을 원칙으로 만들어진 세일링 보조 앱입니다. 회원가입이나 로그인 없이 모든 기능을 바로 사용할 수 있고, 이름·이메일·전화번호 같은 개인정보를 앱이 직접 묻는 화면은 존재하지 않습니다.

앱이 접근하는 정보

세일링 항해 기록·바람 계산 기능을 위해 아래 정보에 기기 내에서 접근하며, 이 정보는 WindTalker 서버로 전송되지 않고 사용자의 기기와 Apple Health(iCloud 동기화 시 사용자 본인의 iCloud)에만 저장됩니다.

• 위치(GPS)·나침반 — 참바람/겉보기 바람 계산, 항해 경로 기록, 코스·경계선 내비게이션에 사용
• 운동 데이터(HealthKit) — 항해 시간, 이동 거리, 속도, 칼로리 소모량을 세션(운동) 기록으로 저장 — 즉 사용자가 언급한 "운동량 계산" 목적으로만 사용됩니다
• 키·체중·성별·생년월일(HealthKit) — 운동량 혹은 소모된 칼로리 계산용으로만 사용됩니다

이 데이터는 iPhone 설정 > 개인정보 보호 > 건강에서 언제든 앱의 접근 권한을 직접 끌 수 있습니다.

제3자 서비스

바람 정보는 Apple의 WeatherKit에서 가져옵니다. 현재 위치의 바람을 조회하기 위해 위도·경도 좌표가 이 요청에 실려 Apple 서버로 전달되지만, 이름·이메일 같은 신원 정보는 붙지 않으며 WindTalker 자체 서버는 거치지 않습니다.

광고 · 분석 · 데이터 판매

이 앱에는 광고, 사용자 추적(트래킹) SDK, 제3자 분석 도구가 포함되어 있지 않으며, 어떠한 개인정보도 판매하거나 마케팅 목적으로 제3자와 공유하지 않습니다.

이 웹사이트의 게시판 기능을 이용해 글을 쓰려면 Google 계정으로 로그인해야 하며, 이때 이름과 이메일 주소만 식별 목적으로 저장됩니다. 이 정보 역시 판매되거나 제3자와 공유되지 않으며, 앱 자체의 기능과는 무관합니다.

WindTalker (BuzzerBeater) is a sailing companion app built around collecting as little as possible. Every feature works without creating an account or signing in, and the app never asks you for your name, email, or phone number.

What the app accesses

To power sailing session recording and wind calculations, the app accesses the following on your device. This data is never sent to a WindTalker server — it stays on your device and in your own iCloud-synced Apple Health data.

• Location (GPS) & compass — used to calculate true/apparent wind, record your sailing route, and provide course and boundary navigation.
• Workout data (HealthKit) — sailing duration, distance, speed, and calories are saved as a workout session — used solely to calculate your exercise activity, nothing more.
• Height, weight, biological sex, and date of birth (HealthKit) — used solely to calculate your exercise activity and calories burned.

You can revoke the app's access to this data at any time from iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

Third-party services

Wind data is fetched from Apple's WeatherKit. To look up wind at your current location, your latitude and longitude are sent along with this request to Apple's servers — but no identifying information like your name or email is attached, and the request never passes through a WindTalker server.

Ads, analytics, and data sale

This app contains no ads, no tracking SDKs, and no third-party analytics. We do not sell or share any personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Posting on this website's community board requires signing in with a Google account, which stores only your name and email for identification. This information is never sold or shared with third parties, and is unrelated to the app itself.
